About Me
Hello! My name is Rory Donahue and I am originally from the greater Philadelphia area. I am a May 2025 Graduate of Fordham University, where I majored in Digital Technologies and Emerging Media, with minors in Journalism and Marketing.
At Fordham, I received the awards of Dean's List, Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, and a scholarship. I was involved with The Fordham Ram, Health and Wellness Club, and Fordham Marketing Association.
I have past internship experience with Sony Music at The Orchard as a Brand and Digital Marketing Intern, at PR Consulting as a Public Relations Intern, and at NBCUniversal as an Audience Development and Engagement Intern. I am interested in pursuing a career in media and entertainment!
I love learning and reading about digital spaces, creators, and those who are shaping the future of the media industry. In my free time, I love watching television, reading, restaurants, podcasts, drinking coffee, and spending time outside.

Audience Development and Engagement Intern, NBCU News Group, Academic Year 2024-2025
Interned on the NBCU News Audience Development and Engagement Team working on social strategy, SEO, engagement, and user experience. Worked across 30+ local markets on social content strategy, newsletter distribution, broadcaster social media, and app engagement campaigns.
Public Relations Intern, Summer 2024
Supported all aspects of public relations for PRC clients, including adidas, Nordstrom, and Kith. Analyzed media coverage, create press clippings, monitor industry trends for weekly reports. Learned about the interworkings of publications and fashion/lifestyle industries.
Joined The Fordham Ram as a Contributing Writer and was elected the Social Media Director, where I oversaw all digital platforms and team of four producers.
